9h15 - 10h15 |
| Decentralised generation and future energy systems |
| The political will declared in favour of the development of renewable energies, and the commitments taken at every single level, from the Community one to the local one so as to develop them, will have a deep impact on the appearance and governance of the future energy systems. In this perspective, how will decision processes evolve in order to better take into consideration previously insufficiently valued local and regional dimensions? This new context will change positions and move gravity centres of every energy. How do traditional energies realize their mutation so as to efficiently accompany renewable energies? What are the major expected technological innovations? |

Workshop 5 |
11h15-12h45 |
| GEPs: a truly alternative source fed for suppliers? |
| Deliveries to gas exchange points (GEP) are increasing at a significant rate. Is this trend purely related to the economic climate, or does it reflect a change that is set to continue? Will the northern GEP be big enough to hold its own again other European hubs? How can we improve GEP liquidity further? Is market coupling an effective solution to the congestion between the GRTgaz Nord GRTgaz Sud zones? |
Moderated by > Marc Benayoun, Director costumer Division economics, tariffs and prices, EDF

Workshop 6 |
11h15-12h45 |
| Energy services: an effective lever for increasing energy performance? |
Improving energy efficiency depends on both looking for ways to save energy and developing new services.
What stages come before signing a CPE? How do you conduct an asset assessment? How do you choose the services that are most suited to the requirements of those issuing tenders? How do we monitor performance across the long term? |

Workshop 7 |
11h15-12h45 |
| Unconventional gas: assessment and perspectives |
| The increase in power of unconventional gas production in the United States over the last five years has measurably impacted the gas market. Henceforth, what is the current level of gas resources? What are the production perspectives in North America and beyond, notably in China, India, Australia, Europe and France? Can we adapt actual extraction methods to other territories? Will the discovery of new resources encourage the development of some customs such as transport? |
Moderated by > Thierry Rouaud, General Secretary, Cedigaz

Workshop 8 |
11h15-12h45 |
| Bio-methane: a source of renewable energy in the heartland |
| There is now a regulatory framework for the injection of bio-methane into natural gas networks, but how will this new sector be set up? What is the outlook in terms of resource development, volumes and project types? Will the development of injection systems lead to the emergence of upgrade options such as for fuel? Will there be further processes such as biomass gasification to complement existing production methods? |

Round table 5 |
15h15-16h15 |
| Gas infrastructures to supply Europe |
| For historical reasons, gas infrastructures to supply Europe were designed along Eastern and Northern corridors. Besides LNG, which has provided diversification both in terms of resources and routes, new pipelines are under study notably to bring gas from the huge fields located in the Caspian Sea and Mediterranean region. What are the planned scenarios? How to achieve these projects within the critical geopolitical context prevailed in these areas? Are political and legal risks correctly secured? What are the other interconnection projects to relieve bottlenecks and reinforce gas exchanges within the internal market? What type of measures should be developed to achieve a better network interoperability? |

Workshop 9 |
17h15-18h45 |
| Evolutions of gas prices |
| The increasing discrepancy between spot prices and long-term contract prices recently observed means that purchase contracts need to be renegotiated to include a reference to the spot price. Given that factors affecting demand for gas are particularly difficult to predict in the current context, is this trend set to last? |
Moderated by > Fadhel Lakhoua, Director of finance and wholesale markets surveillance, CRE
